How it works

Consultation

Our dentists will take the time to understand your goals and carry out a comprehensive check of your teeth and gum health.

From here, we’ll let you know if you’re suitable for dental veneers.

First appointment

We will file a thin layer from your tooth under local anaesthetic and take a mould for your custom veneers – which will be matched perfectly to your tooth colour.

We will then fit some temporary veneers to keep your teeth protected until we see you next.

Second appointment

At your second appointment, we will remove the temporary veneers, clean your teeth thoroughly and start the process of attaching your new, permanent veneers.

Aftercare

Our dentists will advise you on how best to care for your dental veneers and which foods and drinks to avoid.

How to choose between bonding and veneers?

Composite bonding lends itself particularly well to relatively small corrections such as resurfacing a discoloured tooth or repairing a chipped tooth. Veneers, on the other hand, are better suited for more significant transformations, creating a dramatic improvements to a tooth or an entire smile.

FAQ's

Dental veneers are suitable for people looking to completely transform the appearance of their teeth. They’re ideal for correcting chips, closing gaps, reshaping uneven teeth, or improving discolouration.

We will first assess your oral health to make sure there are no underlying issues such as decay or gum disease that need treating before veneers can be fitted.

To keep your veneers looking their best, it’s important to maintain a strong oral hygiene routine by brushing twice a day, flossing daily, and attending regular dental check-ups. It’s also best to limit foods and drinks that can stain natural teeth (like coffee, tea, red wine, and curry) and avoid biting down on very hard foods or objects to reduce the risk of damage.

Porcelain veneers are highly durable, stain-resistant, and designed to maintain their appearance over time. This allows them to last up to 20 years with excellent care.

Composite veneers usually last around 5–7 years and may need more frequent maintenance.

Their lifespan of both options depends on your oral hygiene, lifestyle habits, and regular dental maintenance. We can discuss the best option for you in your initial consultation.

Yes, whitening should always be carried out prior to your veneers being fitted. Veneers don’t respond to whitening treatments, so your final veneer shade will be carefully matched to your natural teeth once you’re happy with their colour.

Modern veneers are designed to look completely natural. Using our advanced materials and techniques, they mimic the translucency and shade of real teeth, creating a seamless, undetectable finish.
