Dr Oberah Qadeer BDS

Oberah qualified from Guy’s Dental School in London in 2002. After completing a vocational training year in Birmingham, she joined a practice in Reading as an associate and worked there for more than 10 years refining her skills and expertise. She then took over an existing practice in Twyford and formed Shine Dental in 2012.
Oberah’s gentle, caring nature and extensive experience allows her to successfully treat patients of all ages, including nervous patients and those with additional needs. She keeps up to date with new developments in dentistry through continued professional development, enabling her to keep her patients fully informed of their options. Oberah has a keen interest in cosmetic dentistry and also has extensive training in facial aesthetic treatments, which complement her cosmetic work.
Oberah’s skills and friendly approach have helped her build strong, lasting relationships with her patients. She heads a close knit team that has been together for many years and naturally cultivates a friendly and family-like atmosphere from the moment you get in touch.
Oberah is married with two young children. She has a keen interest in travelling, cooking, keeping fit and reading, with a growing interest in health and wellbeing.

Dr Sarah Liu

Sarah qualified from Guy’s & St Thomas’ Dental Institute in 2016, having previously gained a BSc in Biomedical Sciences from the University College of London.
She has worked in both the NHS and private dentistry and in addition to providing general and cosmetic dental treatment, Sarah is an Invisalign accredited dentist.
She enjoys working with anxious patients and always strives to provide a comfortable and positive experience for them whenever they visit her.
Sarah also provides facial aesthetics and skin treatments and always maintains the highest quality care and ensures that all techniques are kept up to date with regular training.
Sarah lives in Buckinghamshire with her husband and two small children and enjoys cooking and travelling. She also visits schools and nurseries to educate children and parents on oral health in her free time.
Dental Hygienist:
Aqsa Arif
GDC: 248157
Aqsa qualified from the University of Birmingham with a degree in Dental Hygiene and Therapy in 2013. She then completed a vocational training year in South Wales working as a dental therapist which helped refine her skills and build her knowledge.
Since then Aqsa has worked in practices in Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Central London.
She is part of the British Society of Dental Hygiene and Therapy and enjoys going to regular meetings to keep up to date with new developments. Aqsa also attends courses throughout the year to continue her professional development.
As well as her dental hygiene skills, Aqsa is competent in carrying out teeth whitening. She especially enjoys working with nervous patients and helping them feel at ease. Aqsa finds it very rewarding to see a patient’s oral hygiene improve and she is always looking for new ways to motivate them.
Aqsa enjoys socialising with family and friends, going to the theatre and keeping fit.
